Striving to put Jesus Christ first

AI Builder, Strategist, and Partner

Story

Laying music down

For decades I poured my energy into music, but I realized music had become a stumbling block of pride, even though I was in denial about how much it pulled my focus away from what mattered most. Late in 2025 I was convicted of how big that stumbling block had become. By the grace of God the appetite for creating music left me entirely. What I had chased for decades, I now wanted taken away. So I gladly (and gratefully) laid music down. For me the benefit came immediately. I had more time, energy, and desire to put Jesus Christ first in my life.

In the following nine months I wasn't sure what kind of long-term work I would do, or how I would carry the responsibilities Jesus Christ has given me: my wife, our bills, a household to provide for. Other changes were underway too. We had recently moved across the country. In God's timing, the desire and drive to learn and build AI surfaced.

Today I build AI agents and automations that take repetitive work off a person's plate, and I aim to help others manage their businesses and lives more effectively. My prayer is that I approach this new work with reverence and an appropriate fear and trembling before God. Music showed me how quietly a good thing can take first place in my life, and I don't want AI to become the thing music was.

I am deeply grateful for my wife, Anna. She has been my constant partner, supporter, and helper since long before we even started dating, standing by me in every step of this journey.

Approach

Startup operations, now AI orchestration

My years in startup operations gave me an understanding of how work actually moves through a business, and where it gets stuck. I look for the bottlenecks first, then automate only where it earns its place. Done well, a business gets more out of what it already has, and the people doing the work become managers of agents rather than the ones repeating the steps.

Building and deploying a system is only half the work. A tool does no good unless people actually use it, so I care as much about hands-on training and steady check-ins as I do about the build itself.

Building in public

Two systems, built for myself first

Documented as I go. These are personal projects, not packaged offers.

Project 01

Personal AI OS Nate Herk style

An AI operating system that runs quietly in the background like a digital assistant, flagging opportunities and spotting bottlenecks before they become real problems.

Project 02

Second Brain Andrej Karpathy style

An AI-powered knowledge base that centralizes internal documentation and unstructured data so hard-won knowledge is never lost.
